1.) No, no, no Twilight Characters. I don't want to see Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, or Jacob Black anywhere. This includes changing the character's name and keeping the same history and or personality.
2.) Saying that- try to keep from other series characters as well. Exceptions can be made- as descriptions of some species/ events are similar to at least one series.
3.)Characters can fight, but let's not let things boil over shall we? Just because your character isn't getting along with another's doesn't mean we need to start a PM war. In short, there is a separation of character and human.
4 .) Alright, I'm warning this site anywhere between PG13-R. There are going to be adult characters, and adult language and content is expected. Violence will be high as well. However, there may be people looking who don't want to see erotica. If you do transcend into that sort of thing, mark your topic. Please and thank you.
5.) Your character is not perfect, nor control other characters. Don't be a Mary Sue, GodModder, or a Powerplayer. That stuff doesn't fly here.
6.)You are more than welcome to create multiple characters (in fact I encourage you to), but you must make a separate account for each. This makes it far less confusing for everyone.
7.*) Have good spelling and Grammar skills. A typo and misspelling here and there is perfectly alright. None of us are perfect. But, as this is a story form rp, the ability to tell a story is important. Therefore, so is spelling and grammar. No l33t sp34k.
8.*) No one liners, it doesn't have to be a full length paragraph but please! Just something that somebody can respond to. We also ask that you please post with a minimum of 2-3 paragraphs to help uphold our title of 'intermediate to advanced.' (Also, though it's not required, I'd like to note that it's typically considered polite to try and match or at least come close to the length of the last post of the person you're threading with-- just so they don't feel their efforts are being wasted!)
9.*) When out of character, use paratheses or OOC; to let everyone know.
10.*) OOC Knowledge of characters does not mean IC knowledge. If you know __'s character is dying, pregnant, or even a voodoo witch doctor-- your character doesn't know until it's revealed in game.
11.*) Players must post AT LEAST once a week (unless they have told us they will be away) or they risk the chance of getting deleted. Though we usually keep pretty good tabs on this through the activity checks, if we find that you are posting in the activity checks, but are otherwise inactive in the roleplay, you may receive a warning of deletion if you don't post IC in a given amount of time.
12.*) No stealing of other people's work, if we find out that you have stolen something like RP samples, characters, or applications, you will be promptly deleted.
13.*) Watch your signature size, if your signature breaks our tables, it will be removed or resized.
14.*) Have readable fonts. If it gives anyone a headache, it has to go. It's preferable that you don't add any styles, like bold/italic/underline. It's annoying. Size 1 font is preferred.
15.*) As the admins, we reserve the right to take back any decision on any application upon actually interacting with the member/character around the forum. This can be based on in-forum RP posts, or just general attitude. We're not jerks, and we won't just remove anyone we don't like, but if you are disrespectful or turn out sub-par to what we expected, we may take action.
