Two Twins. One Cure.
Twin siblings, Damian and Daria, have been working in the science field ever since they were turned Vampire- nearly two-hundred and fifty years previous. Considered fools of their time for various reasons, one of the elders brought them over to find the secrets of the supernatural world. Now, in their private lab, they search for clues to what makes a vampire tick- why do is blood the the life source for Vampires? Why is a coffin with dirt from their home countries so important? What's wrong with garlic, sun, and God? Why Must vampires be invited in before entering a home? Working to explain the unexplainable, a solution is produced.
One month and seven days ago, Daria and Damian found the break through- now spoken of as 'The Cure', with the ability to bring a revolution past the horizon is lingers at. A Blood-like substance that can feed a vampire without a human. However there is a cost; when you sacrifice the hunt, you sacrifice super strength, sight, speed, and mental power. Some find this new ability to have a half life, able to stomach small amounts of garlic and hear the Lord's name without cringing, an abomination to their kind. Some find it a blessing.
Those who rally for human rights- against most of the elders- now wish for Vampires and other Supernatural beings to step into the light; come out of the coffin, so to speak. Werewolves disagree vehemently- to the point where some more powerful Packs have attacked prominent pro-Cure vampires. The Vampire elders, for once, are in full agreement with the Werewolves.
Daria immediately seeks to defy her creator, and the rest of the leading Vampires, and mass produce The Cure. Her small circle of friends stand behind her, as do an army-like band of 'Humane Vampires'. Damian, however, has sided with the elders in search of power. Vincente, the eldest Elder, pulls him into his own circle. Plans unfold on all sides; can there be a winner without more bloodshed? Or will it take a compromise; Two to Cure.
