Well, I haven't been with him like that for as long as my Vampire life, but it has been a while since we weren't physically intimate. I know his body, at times, better than I know my own. I don't think I could live without him at this point- at least knowing I could never come back to him. I'm not looking towards returning from Europe to him with fondness; I doubt we're going to rekindle after six months before I get interrogated."
Vincente says: "I've chosen a lot of humans to turn and have had to kill them because of it, Cole is the only one I have never regretted turning. Every since I met her I loved her, though the first few years she was nothing but a pain but now it's almost hard to be without her. When she left it was hard to get used to not having her around, everything was strange and though most guys would probably love to have their wives leave for 6 months with no strings attached... Not me, I need her opinion, especially when it comes to deciding what to do with the cure. But the six months also gave me time to come up with questions for when she does return."
